Declaratory Judgment is Preventive Adjudication
A judgment of the court in civil cases that declares the rights, duties, and obligations of the parties in a dispute, declaratory judgment is legally binding. However it does not actions to be taken by any of the parties. In contrast, it is like actions to enforce preventive adjudication.
